1. Causes and solutions of common problems of water-soluble cutting fluids.

1.1 Rust:

If the concentration is low, add the stock solution to increase the concentration;
When the PH value decreases, add a PH adjuster to increase the PH value;
When the bacterial content is increased, add fungicides for sterilization;
If the chloride ion content in the preparation water is too high, clean water with low chlorine content should be used for preparation;
Chloride ion content increased, add deionized water;
Partial replacement of anti-rust additives to reduce the addition of anti-rust components (if conditions permit, it should be determined by laboratory test); the influence of metal particles improves the filtering effect;
Acid pollution/ambient atmosphere Improve environmental conditions;
Corrosion occurs before operation to check the quality of the parts.

1.2 Bacteria increase, resulting in unpleasant odor:
Long downtime, daily timing cycle, strengthen ventilation and oxygenation;
Poor light and ventilation, strengthen circulation, ventilation and oxygenation;
Pollution, too much debris, avoid pollution, clean the system;
When the PH value decreases, add a PH adjuster to increase the PH value;

1.3 Foam:
The concentration is too high, adjust the concentration;

Bacteria increase, sterilize;
The liquid level is too low, and the pump generates cavitation. Raise the liquid level to the normal position to clear the cavitation phenomenon.

1.4 Miscellaneous oil:
The workpiece is brought in, the leakage point is solved, and the leakage is reduced;
Hydraulic oil leakage, manual oil removal;
Rail oil leaks, centrifuge degreasing.

1.5 Solid impurities and residues:
Deterioration or damage of slag removal and filtration, improve filtration and slag removal system;
Bacteria multiply and sterilize;
The water hardness is too high, softening the water;
Excessive miscellaneous oil, degreasing treatment, the outside world pays attention to keep the system clean.

1.6 The stability of the working fluid decreases
If the water quality is hard, add microemulsion adjuster;

The cutting fluid itself is the problem. When the customer promises to free up a bed to test, it means that you have succeeded 80%, and you are only one step away from the final victory.

2. How to use the maintenance additives correctly?
2.1 Water quality regulator:
The company currently has two water quality regulators to adjust water hardness, one is to low-key (CWT-01 water softener), the other is to high-key (CWT-02 water quality regulator).
a. Water hardness: It is usually determined by the content of Ca and Mg ions in the water. Generally, the hardness of the cutting fluid is 150~300PPM.
b. How to use: Hardening: adding 5kg (about 5000ml) of CWT-02 per ton, the water hardness will increase by about 250PPM; Softening: adding 2kg (about 2000ml) CWT-01 per ton, the water hardness will decrease by about 200PPM.
c. The water hardness has a great influence on the foam. The hardness is high and the foam is low, but it is possible to separate soap and demulsification; the hardness is low and the foam is high.

2.2 Defoamer:
It has good defoaming and anti-foaming effects and is easy to use. Each ton of working fluid is added at a time of 100ml, or the cutting fluid can be diluted several times before adding.

2.3 PH adjuster:
It is used to adjust the PH value of the working fluid during operation to ensure that it is in the best state between 8.5 and 9.5, which is beneficial to improve the stability of the cutting fluid, antibacterial properties and the realization of basic functions. Add 200ml to 2000ml CWT-03 at one time per ton of working solution, the pH value of the system will rise by 0.1~0.5 points.
