What are the DO NOTs for PAG Lubricants?
Mineral Oil solubility: Most PAG lubricants are not compatible with mineral oil-based lubricants, Some oil-soluble PAG lubricants are compatible.
Seal compatibility: PAG lubricants can be used with many common elastomers, however, there may be temperature limitations when the lubricant is based on some PAG basestock types. PAG lubricant should not be used with polyurethane-based elastomers.
Paint compatibility: Most PAG lubricants are not compatible with alkyd-based paints but are compatible with epoxy paints.
