What Is The Difference Between Diesel Engine Oil CF-4 And CH-4?

What is the difference between diesel engine oil CF-4 and CH-4?

CF-4, CH-4, CI-4 and CJ-4 are the quality grades of diesel engine oil. For example, CH-4 means that the quality grade is ch, and 4 means four stroke engine. At present, the common ones are CF-4 and CH-4.

Difference between diesel engine oil CF-4 and CH-4:

CF-4: imported in 1990, it is suitable for high-speed, four stroke, naturally aspirated or diesel engine equipped with turbocharger. It can replace CD grade and CE grade oil.

CH-4: imported in 1998, it is suitable for high-speed four stroke diesel engine and meets the emission standard of the United States in 1998 and uses fuel with sulfur content less than 0.5%. It can replace CD grade, CF-4 grade and CG-4 oil grade.

Features of CF-4 and CH-4:

1. Better oil stability and oxidation stability

2. Lower evaporation loss to reduce oil consumption

3. Using better formula to improve TBN and its retention

4. Improve the cleaning and dispersibility - make the engine oil dissolve more combustion and oxidation products without sludge, carbon deposit and paint film
