Lubricant oil is a liquid or semi-solid lubricant used in various types of automobiles and machinery to reduce friction and protect machinery and processed parts. It mainly functions as lubrication, cooling, rust prevention, cleaning, sealing and buffering. It is generally composed of two parts, a Base Oil and an additive. Base oil is the main component of lubricant oil, which determines the basic properties of lubricating oil. Additives can make up for and improve the performance of base oil, and give some new properties. It is an important part of lubricant oil. The order of addition of lubricants is as follows:
1. Feeding Sequence of the lubricant oil is: First add the base oil. When the temperature of the base oil is raised to 60°, join in order Antifoam Additive, Pour Point Depressant, Viscosity Index Improver and Additive Package are sequentially added. Each time a different material is added for 10 minutes, different feeding sequences may affect the anti-foaming performance, pour point, and may cause precipitation of additives when severe.
2. Generally, the temperature of the internal combustion engine oil is 70±10°, and the temperature of the Gear Oil and hydraulic oil is controlled at 60±10°.
3. If the base oil contains traces of water, the base oil is heated to 110° without any additives and stirred for 30 minutes.
