1. Common problems of transport chain

2. Requirements of transportation chain for lubricating oil

(2) Good permeability can penetrate into all friction links of the chain link to form a boundary film and reduce wear.

(3) Good oxidation resistance and stability contact with air during operation, which will not accelerate oxidation and form oxides.

3. Lubrication method of transport chain
(1) Manual regular lubrication: use oil pot or oil brush. Applicable to low speed ν≤ 4m/s transmission.

(2) Oil drip lubrication: use an oil cup or oiler to drip 5-20 drops of lubricating oil every minute through the oil pipe at the gap between the inner and outer chain plates of the loose chain. For ν≤ 10m/s transmission.

(3) Oil bath lubrication: immerse the loose edge chain into the oil pan, and the immersion depth is 6-12mm. For ν= 12m/s transmission.

(4) Splash lubrication: in the sealed container, use the oil thrower to lift the oil, flow along the shell to the oil collecting place, and then guide it to the chain.

(5) Pressure lubrication: when ν≥ In case of 8 m/s high-power transmission, special oil pump shall be used to spray oil to the sprocket chain engagement. The fuel injection nozzle is set at the meshing position of the chain. The number of fuel injection nozzle at each meshing position is (n+1), and n is the number of chain rows.

4. Analysis of high temperature transport chain oil and chain grease
The difference between high temperature chain oil and chain grease can only be understood through such considerations. First of all, in terms of adhesion, when the friction part is at a standstill, the lubricating grease can maintain its original shape and will not lose automatically under the action of gravity. When the friction part is in motion, the lubricating grease will not leak oil under the action of centrifugal force like the high temperature chain oil, but the high temperature chain oil is not, which is worse than the lubricating grease in terms of adhesion.

It can also be used in a simple construction system. The high-temperature chain oil needs to be lubricated in a closed system. The equipment lubricated is also very complex in structure, so the cost is higher than that of lubricating grease. The chain grease can be directly applied to the metal surface to provide certain protection, and because the protective film is relatively thick and can isolate various acids, alkalis and other gases, the protective ability is better than the high-temperature chain oil.
