At present, different types of antirust agents are used in various formulation systems to achieve higher cost performance. If the characteristics of various antirust agents are not accurately understood, deviations are likely to occur when problems in the system need to be identified and judged. The coupling ability of polyether 1, polyether 2 and polyether 3 is described in the following practical cases. A friend reported that the white granular things precipitated after the Fully Synthetic Cutting Fluid with ternary acid polyether 1 as the antirust agent was kept for a period of time. After checking the substances in the system, it was suspected that polyether 1 was not completely dissolved. Based on more than ten years of practical application experience, we know that polyether 1 will not precipitate after dissolution, but the customer's problem is still unresolved, and even since then, polyether 1 has been avoided in its formula as much as possible. The amino acid esters polyether 2 and polyether 3 were gradually used, and the previous problem has not been solved. Until recently, there were similar problems. During communication, the customer asked if there was any new caproic acid and n-octanoic acid, and determined that there was 5% 1740 polyether in the formula. Lenovo had always said that there was precipitation in the fully synthetic cutting fluid. After communication with the customer, they jointly designed two plans to verify whether there was precipitation in the fully synthetic cutting fluid: 1. Water quality factor: the system contains polyether 1 but does not contain polyether. The customer himself uses local tap water. It is recommended that the customer use purified water and end customer deep well water to mix them. After they are adjusted, they should stand still to see if there is any change. It is proved that precipitation is not related to polyether 1.
2. When 5% polyether 1740 is added, the other ingredients remain unchanged, and the content of polyether 1 in the antirust agent remains unchanged. Add the same amount of polyether 2 and polyether 3 to distinguish them, depending on the actual effect.
The transparent one on the right side is to add 10% polyether 3, and the opaque one on the left side is actually 5% polyether 2 and 5% polyether 1 respectively. On the one hand, this scheme explains to the customer that polyether 1 will not affect the appearance, and on the other hand, it includes the precipitation in the full synthetic standing that has been reflected previously, which is caused by polyether in the system; The coupling effect of polyether 2 on polyether was also verified. Through verification, the doubt of nearly a year was solved: the customer did find sediment precipitation, and we also determined that polyether 1 would not precipitate after dissolution: it was all caused by polyether. Again, it is recommended that polyether 1, polyether 2 and polyether 3 be added to the fully synthetic polyether system, which has good rust prevention performance, high cost performance ratio, and can be used for many purposes without the smell of adding short chain acids.
