MWF testing standard


1) The test items specified in GB/T 6144-2010 "Synthetic Cutting Fluid" mainly include:


1. Appearance inspection index requirements
Liquid cutting fluid requirements: no stratification, no precipitation, uniform liquid concentration
Paste cutting fluid requirements: no foreign phase precipitation, uniform paste

Requirements for shrinking solid powder: no hard agglomerates, uniform powder that is easily soluble in water.


2. The storage stability test means that there is no delamination, phase change, or colloid, etc., and it can be restored to the original state after the test.


3. Transparency testing refers to requirements for transparency or translucent.


4. The corrosion test shall be carried out with cast iron, copper, and aluminum alloy test pieces.


5. The rust resistance test requires that the temperature is 33-37 degrees Celsius. The single chip rust resistance test needs to pass the 24 hours test to be qualified, and the laminated sheet rust resistance test needs to pass the 4 hours test to be qualified.


6. In addition, the synthetic cutting fluid testing items include defoaming properties, pH value, surface tension, maximum non-jamming load PB value, adaptability to machine tool paint, nitrogen dioxide concentration and other indicators.

2) The test items specified in JB/T 7453-2013 "Semi-synthetic Cutting Fluid" mainly include:


1. Appearance inspection index requirements: uniform and transparent liquid.


2. The storage and transportation stability test indicators require no discoloration, no delamination, and a uniform transparent liquid.


3. The phase state detection index requires uniform transparency or translucent.


4. The corrosion test shall be carried out with cast iron, copper, and aluminum alloy test pieces.


5. The stability test of the diluent requires no oil or soap precipitation.


6. The anti-rust test requires a temperature of 33-37 degrees Celsius. The single-chip anti-rust test needs to pass 24 hours to pass the test, and the laminated anti-rust test needs to pass 4 hours to pass the test.


7. In addition, semi-synthetic cutting fluid testing items include defoaming, pH value, surface tension, allowable salt, hard water adaptability, extreme pressure PD value, inter-friction, adaptability to machine tool paint, etc. index.

3) The testing items specified in GB/T 31469-2015 "Cutting Fluid for Semiconductor Materials" mainly include:


There are relatively few testing indicators for cutting fluids for semiconductor materials, and the appearance testing indicators require colorless or slightly yellow transparent liquids. In addition, the only testing items are viscosity, density, chroma, pH, water content, conductivity and other indicators.

In fact, there is also a local standard DB22/T 467-2009 "Clean Synthetic Metal Cutting Fluid" in the metal cutting fluid testing standard. Since it is not authoritative, we will not repeat it here. There are also several related standards for metal detection methods.

The foreign testing standards for metal detection fluids also include JIS K2241-2017 "Cutting Fluid" DLA VV-C-846 C-2005 "Emulsified Oil Cutting Fluid" ASTM E2148-2011 "Metalworking or Metal Cutting Fluid Hygiene and Safety Related Document Use Standard Guide, etc.
