Product Introduction:

This product has the appearance of pure light yellow to off-white granule, powder, dome shaped, it is a mixture of 4-methyl-benzotriazole and 5-methyl-benzotriazole, the melting point is from 83 to 86℃, soluble in alcohol, benzene, toluene, chloroform and watery lye, and hardly soluble in water.

Application:

It is mainly used as antirust additive and Corrosion Inhibitor for metals, such as silver, copper, zinc, lead, nickel, etc., and for antirust oil products, the gas phase corrosion inhibitor of copper and aldary, Lubricant Additive, cycle water treating compound and antifreeze. It also can be used with manifold scale inhibitor and sterilization algaecide, it works as corrosion inhibitor very well especially in close cycle cooling water system. It is an important Lubricant Additive Component in vehicles and industrial applications, like High Temperature Antioxidant, Antiwear Ep Additive, etc.
